SoftiMAX

Description

The SoftiMAX beamline will provide soft x-ray imaging techniques built around the use of spatially coherent light waves. These techniques produce microscopic images of a sample, which at the same time can hold chemical, electronic, magnetic and/or structural information, depending on the details of the experiment. The techniques requires thinn samples with a thickness around 100 nm to a few microns.
