The P11 beamline at PETRA III Hamburg is a versatile instrument dedicated to High-Throughput Macromolecular Crystallography (MXUsed for determining the atomic, three-dimensional structures of large biological molecules and understand the structure-function relationship.More info), which provides variable focus sizes (from 200 x 200 to 5 x 10 µm^2) in an energy range from 5.5 to 28 keV with a maximum of 10^13 ph/s. The automatic sample changer at P11 is based on the Unipuck-format with a total capacity of 23 pucks (368 samples). Data collection time of 2 minutes per sample is achievable, including mount/unmount cycle. Remote access is via easy-to-use web interface. P11 also offers OLT shifter for semi-automated crystal harvesting and serial synchrotron crystallography with tapedrive sample delivery.
