Have used synchrotron radiation based techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to study chemical processen at surfaces, catalysis, electrocatalysis, and thin film growth. Often in combination with X-ray absorption spectroscopy for information about local bonding configuration and orientation.
